After an extended break due to King's cry off last week, the Okes face second placed Thornbury at home this week. Thorns have only lost once so far this term and this will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.Little is known of the North Bristolians, but they appear to have a strong all round side and were runners up in SW1 last season so are well established at this level.
Oke will be hoping that home advantage plays its part as they look to get back to winning ways after the narrow, but disappointing defeat at Teignmouth last time out. The side will not be selected until after this week's training, with injuries picked up at Teigns Oke will have to assess certain players before the final side is named. Player Coach Gaz Evans is also now back from his Bermudan adventure.
The weather may well also have a significant influence as the traditional Okehampton winter seems to have finally arrived.
The super twos and colts are also back in action on Sat at Crediton and home to Cullompton respectively. Final selections will be posted later tonight, but whoever is in the maroon and amber this weekend, they would all appreciate, and benefit from , your vocal, encouragement. So please make your way to the Showground to back the boys , KO is 2.30 PM.
