Boosted by last Saturdays excellent away win at Bridgwater, The Okes host a Newent side visiting the Showground for the very first time. Like the Okes, this week's visitors have recently had a run of narrow defeats but bucked the trend in some style by hammering N Petherton last Saturday. Our visitors have slipped from their early season runners up spot, to now only lie two places and two points above the Okes before this week's match up.

Okes themselves are high on confidence after last week's win.This weekend they may well be without the services of the ever reliable Paul Lawrence due to injury, but should otherwise select from a full squad with the possibility of a couple of returnees also. Pre Christmas the Showground was a fortress for the Okes, but after two surprise narrow home defeats the maroon and ambers will want to get the home fires burning once more.

The club also plays host to the annual Vice Presidents and ex players lunch this weekend. This should provide the boys with plenty of vocal support and they will look to repay that with some of the expansive rugby that they produced at Bridgy. Full selection will be posted here in the match centre when announced later this evening.

The colts and twos both travel this weekend looking for vital league wins at Tiverton and Cullompton respectively. KO at home is 2.30 pm, and with post match Hawaiian themed team building also planned, it should be a day (and night!) to remember.. so don't miss out..
