After last weeks disrupted trip to Drybrook, Okes return to the relatively new home comforts of the back pitch to take on an unbeaten Exeter University outfit

The visitors have been in imperious form so far as they look to reach achieve their undoubted target of National league rugby, trying to follow in the footsteps of their peers- Hartbury and Loughborough.

Oke will be hoping that their absentees from last week will be available, and that home support and passion on the pitch can help them upset the formbook. These two sides last met two years ago in WCW during the Okes title winning promotion campaign. The Okes winning both home and away that season.

New player- coach Martin Harrison-Browne , kindly provided his opinion on last week's effort and the challenge ahead this weekend.. -

"After a disrupted week's training for various reasons and with 7 1st team players unavailable, I thought in the first half we played well and looked like maybe getting a result. Though after injuries and a few missed tackles this was not going to be, although I'm still proud of the boys that stepped up and Rory for his 4 minutes of playing time!! "

With a few players returning, and a good week's training under our belts, I am hopeful for a good old home win to get us back on track. Uni will be fast paced, but if we bring the physicality that I know we have I think we will hold our own just fine".

So we need your support to get behind the boys at home this Saturday, please bring it to the Showground. The twos and Colts travel to Paignton and Kingbridge respectively as well, as the ORFC season really kicks in action.. .. "Come On you Okes!"
